Receives four A-List recognitions for second consecutive year
TOKYO, January 11, 2018 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that the CDP, a global disclosure system that enables companies and cities to measure and manage their environmental impacts, has presented the company with top "A List" rankings for outstanding climate- and water-management practices that Mitsubishi Electric deploys in its supply chain programs. This is Mitsubishi Electric's second consecutive year to be named to these leaders' lists.
A-List rankings are based on questionnaires sent to suppliers in the supply chains of CDP member companies.
The CDP also announced in October 2017 that Mitsubishi Electric had been named to the separate CDP Climate 2017 A List and CDP Water 2017 A List, both for the second consecutive year, recognizing the company's outstanding efforts to mitigate climate change and protect water resources, respectively.

CDP is an international non-governmental organization that conducts surveys, discloses performance and evaluates the environmental activities of companies and cities. Currently, 803 institutional investors managing assets worth US$ 100 trillion rely on information from CDP to make responsible investments regarding climate change, CDP's primary focus, and 639 institutional investors managing assets worth US$ 69 trillion refer to CDP information to invest responsibly regarding water resources. The CDP supply chain program enables its member companies to evaluate the environmental activities of their suppliers based on the CDP's disclosure system. Details about supply-chain A List companies will be provided in the CDP Supply Chain Report 2017/2018, which will be published on CDP's website on January 29.
